The compressor filter element is an important part of the oil separator. High quality oil separators have built-in filter cores and the lifespan is up to thousands of hours. Therefore this separation can ensure high efficiency. The compressor can contain microscopic oil droplets with a diameter of less than 1 um. These oil drops will be filtered by the filter core. Under the dispersing effect of the filter material, they will quickly precipitate into a large drop. Large drops of oil will combine at the bottom under the influence of gravity. Finally, they will flow into the lubrication system through the oil return pipe. As a result, the compressed air discharged from the compressor is clean and free of oil contamination. Unlike microscopic oil droplets, the crystals in the compressed air will remain in the filter layer, thus leading to an increase in differential pressure. When the differential pressure is 0.08-0.1Mpa, then the filter core must be replaced. On the other hand, operating costs will increase significantly.

How to maintain the air dryer? Check the vehicle's U-shaped air and water drainage pipes to see if they are releasing compressed air and hard water normally. Clean the U-shaped drain more than once a month. Check for any leaking pipe fittings. Please maintain a stable internal temperature ( below 38oC) and compressed air inlet temperature ( below 38oC). At the same time, cleaning must be done periodically so that dust and impurities do not cover the capacitor of the aftercooler and air dryer (about every 1-2 weeks).
